:D You can reach the entries and "polls" through the members page. ^^ If you're not a member but want to vote, then you'd better sign up! ^_~ It's free! :D I will temporarily stop taking memberships two weeks before voting concludes on Oct. 31st. That means after Oct. 17th and before November 1st I will not create any new memberships. I will resume taking membership requests on Nov. 1st. After Oct.17th, new members would most likely not have enough time to vote in all categories, or even in one big category, fairly. This is also to prevent last minute voting frenzies, at least by really new members. Can't have people voting willy-nilly without any reguard to an entry's content, now can I? ^_~GOOD NEWS!! We got more art entries in and we now have four (4) art categories PLUS Best Art! ^^ There's not that many entries, but I figured why not make the most of 'em! ^_~ This does up the total cost of prizes, though. I figure . . . roughly . . . $350. Yeah . . . that's the bad news. *sigh* I might not be able to get a job this holiday since H&R's tax course is starting a whole month late here. *07/26/03* FIVE WEEKS LEFT 'TIL THE DEADLINE!!! Quite a bit has happened since the last update. One being my net conncetion dying on me. That means anything I need to do online will have to be done through someone else's computer, including checking my mail, uploading files, and such. In the mean time I've changed some settings on my computer, the biggest of which is changing my resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768. Guess what happened when I check the site after doing this. That's right, a lot of pages looked wonky! ^^;; Mostly just the no frame pages with the Chibi Death background. So I changed them. *grin* I also updated the "About Us" pages. ^^ Oh, and I need money desperately, so donations would be greatly appreciated. I'm still working out the details to sell webspace and I'm also thinking about doing commissions (don't laugh!). I also need help with the site. I need summaries for the archived fics and help with terms commonly used and associated with fics and pics. From lemon to NCS to pairings like 1x2 or Rx3 to yaoi and slash and everything inbetween. If anyone's interested, please let me know. ^^
*06/18/03* New links! Three new links in the Web Comics of Dooooooooom page and two links on the links page itself, to Writing.com (a great place for writes with lots of resources ^^) and to my portfolio there. you may also note that I have decided to just have both versions of this site link to one links and web comics page. This cuts down on the amount of time I have to spend on editing those pages. ^^ Plus it's easier to view the links page outside of frames. ^_~ I may do this with other pages in the future. Like witht the FAQ. It's a bitch and a half to edit one version, let alone two! @.@;; Some pages aren't a problem updating, though, and won't be affected. Like updates. No searching for that right spot, or spots, as the case may be, just simple copy and paste. ^^ Plus the lack of images for the framed version makes it easy enough to read and it's easy enough to navigate within a frame. From now on, if a new page doesn't fall under those criteria, it's gonna open up in a new window for frames and will be the same page for both versions. Saves me time. ^_~
*06/12/06* Deadline changed to August 31st! What the . . . Again?!? Yup! Again. ^^;; Why? Well, because . . . the judging procedures have changed! (You hate me now, don't you? ^^;;) Judging has been changed to just member polls. Removing the judges leaves more time for entering, as well as other things, like updating the archives. Plus, winners will be announced much sooner and we won't have to wait on anyone to finish judging. ^^ Steps will be taken to make it as fair as possible. For more details, go to the Judging section in the FAQ.

TU merchandise doesn't seem to be in demand, though, so don't expect much and don't expect me to hurry. I'm still fuming over their gall . . . claiming exclusive rights to MY pics! The nerve! As if cutting into our commissions wasn't enough . . . GRRR!

IMPORTANT CHANGES!
A few changes have been made to the rules. 1. Entry info must now be attached to e-mails in a text file. Entries made from now on will have to follow this rule or risk disqualification. 2. Archive ammendum: I will direct link fics if asked and under certain terms. See rules for terms. 3. I didn't think this was neccessary before, but alas, it seems it is. No script style fics nor IM chat fics will be allowed. I figured this was obvious, but yanno, there's always someone out there that make such rules neccessary. ^^;; So, if we receive ony fic entries in either style/formatting they will automatically be disqualified.
Forum now open to the public! ^^ It's still linked on the member's page and it's linked to on the main page. Must be at least 13 to join. (if you're under 13, what are ya doing here?!? Shoo!) I'd prefer just adults, but yanno. ^^;; Read the rules before posting. It's not restricted to TU-esque things, which basically means humor, fluff, romance, etc. are heartily welcome! ^^ We still need volunteers to help with this site and contest. Anyone on alot of MLs that might be interested in the contest be willing to ask the ML admins if it's alright to advertise TU? And do it on the ones that give the okay? Anyone have a site they are willing to put a TU banner on, linking it back to www.terrorunknown.com? Anyone willing to make TU banners and winner badges? Anyone willing to check for bugs and broken links? Anyone willing to otherwise pimp TU? Anyone?
