No, they can just pay for the honor. ^_~ Co-owners don't have to anything accept help pay for TU stuff whenever possible. However, I may give co-owner status to anyone who helps with the site/contest extensively. As owner, I am ultimately responsible for everything, but co-owners will help take some of the pressure off, lending a hand when and where I need it. (a little to the left . . . up a little . . . riiiiight there! . . . oooh, yeeeaaaahhh . . . ^^)
The most obvious answer would be money, but I say for help. Yes, the money is a large part of it, as I'm too pessimistic to believe all TU costs will be covered solely by (one time) donations, membership fees, and merchanise. Co-owners allow me to split the cost between several people, diminishing my own costs, and, ideally, cuts the work I have to do to keep this contest running.
Other than help pay for stuff, they can (as in, not madatory) help maintain the site by updating pages, formatting entries to fit the site's style, etc. or by moderating lists and/or forums. Oh, and help advertising the site wouldn't hurt! ^_~
Simple, really. There are two ways. One, help out with the site on a regular basis like I mentioned above and two, contact me to discuss 'payments'. There is no set amount, but you should be able to afford to put in some amount into TU regularly.
Well, you'd get free membership, for one. You'd also get to promote any sites you may have on the splash page. ^^ You'd also have some say when major changes affect the site/contest. I may even be able to give ya a terrorunknown.com e-mail addy. ^^ Plus, you have the honor, nay, the privilage of supporting Terror Unknown! XD But love (or at least reeeeaaaallly like) TU and/or don't have the time nor money, co-ownership is not for you. If you do love (or like) TU and want to help, but just have the time and/or you can't afford to make regular 'payments', there's always yearly memberships, merchandise, and donations. ^^
